Night Time Routine

I often get asked what products I use to remove my make-up and keep my skin nourished and ready for the next day. These are well used products as you can see.

My skin is combination but can be sensitive and I find these all work fine and don’t cause any break outs.
Firstly I use Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I use one or two pumps (depending on how caked I am) on a dry face. I usually use a damp flannel/face cloth instead of the muslins that come with it.
I have also found the Eve Lom cleanser works really well but if you're not willing to spend that kind of money Liz Earle is a great alternative.
This step gets most of my make-up off but just to make sure I then use Bioderma on a cotton pad on my face and neck. Bioderma is a favourite of mine. It's really cheap and does the job. It's great for nights when you can't be bothered to do the whole routine.
Once my face is completely clean I take my Bodyshop Tea Tree skin clearing toner on a cotton pad to help cleanse my pores and prevent spots. The seaweed toner from the Bodyshop is also good.

Once my skin is clean I use Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate. It is an oil but as I put it on at night it's ok even on my oily days. After I have cleansed my skin always feels dry so adding this after always feels nice. It's not cheap but I think it's worth spending the money on a decent night cream or night oil and it's not something you will be buying often. Sarah Chapman's Over night facial is a great alternative but again not cheap.

I then use the Elemis Eye Serum. You have to go easy with it as I found it can migrate into your eyes during the night. I follow this with the Midnight Recovery Eye cream. Some nights I use only one product on my eyes depending on how my skin is that day.

I'm by no means a skincare expert but this is what works for me.
